My name is Ada López-Isa. I grew up in Hialeah, Florida. As a little girl, I played school and of course, I was always the teacher. I believe I inherited my love for teaching from my parents.Education was always very important in my home. My four brothers and I, all have university degrees. I have a Bachelor of Science in Education, a Master of Science in Elementary Education and an Educational Specialist Degree in Education. I am also Florida certified in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Reading (K-12) and English as a Second Language (ESOL). I will always be thankful to my parents for instilling in me the love for reading and learning and to God Almighty for giving me the opportunity to do what I love - teaching and being a teacher!I have been teaching at Ben Sheppard Elementary School since 1990. It is my hope and desire to instill in all my students the same love for reading and learning that I have. I want all students to believe in themselves, for if they believe, they will achieve and succeed!Mi nombre es Ada López-Isa. Me crié en la ciudad de Hialeah, en el estado de la Florida. Cuando niña, jugaba a la escuelita y naturalmente, yo siempre era la maestra. Yo creo que mi amor por la enseñanza lo heredé de mis padres.La educación siempre fue muy importante en mi hogar. Mis cuatro hermanos y yo, todos tenemos títulos universitarios. Yo tengo los siguientes títulos: Bachelor of Science in Education (Licenciatura en Educación), Master of Science in Elementary Education (Maestría en Educación Elemental) y un Educational Specialist Degree in Education (Especialista en Educación). También tengo certificaciones por el estado de la Florida en las siguientes áreas: Early Childhood Education (Educación de Kindergarten), Elementary Education ( Educación de Escuela Elemental), Reading K-12 ( Lectura de Kindergarten hasta el 12 grado) y English as a Second Language (ESOL) (Inglés como Segunda Lengua).Siempre le estaré agradecida a mis padres por haber inculcado en mí el amor hacia la lectura y el aprendizaje y a Dios Todo Poderoso por darme la oportunidad de hacer lo que amo- ¡enseñar y ser maestra! He estado enseñando en la Escuela Ben Sheppard Elementary desde 1990. Es mi esperanza y deseo, inculcar en todos mis alumnos el mismo amor a la lectura y al aprendizaje que yo tengo.
